As an "average" moviegoer, I thoroughly enjoyed the Kill Bill films. Tarantino's portrayal of women (Beatrix Kiddo in this case) is to be admired.

The other thing that he does particularly well is the story telling through chapters. The opening scene in Inglourious Basterds is brilliant in how he is able to keep the audience's attention for so long. That one scene goes on and on and on, yet as a viewer, I was at the edge of my seat for its entirety.
